In this course you read novels or your own choice and write a reading diary.
Description
In this self-study course you will choose five novels of your own choice from a list of literary works and write a reading diary according to the instructions available on Moodle. A literary discussion with the tutor that ends the course is an essential part of the learning process.
Learning outcomes
On completing the course the students:
- can read literature analytically,
- note down their findings and develop their ideas in a discussion,
- are familiar with novels in English from different parts of the world, different periods and different genres.
