This course create understanding of digital interactions, their special features and impact on our business environments and society as a whole.

Description

The aim of this course is to create understanding of digital interactions, their special features and impact on our business environments and society as a whole. Through thorough understanding future business managers are able to create more effective business decisions and help their organizations to harness digital interactions to serve their own strategic purposes in ethical way.

The course develops students analytical and systematic thinking skills, ethical thinking and creative problem solving.

Key Concepts: Interaction, Digital interaction, Digital media, Ethical dilemma

Connection of Course Contents to UN Sustainable Development Goals: no 8: Industry Innovation and Infrastructure; no 3: Good health and wellbeing; and no 16: Peace, justice and strong institutions. 

Learning outcomes

After completion of the course the student is able to:

- Understand how digital interfaces have influenced interactions and what implications this has had on business environment.

- Analyse digital interactions by using theories explaining dynamics in digital interfaces.

- Create solutions of how organizations can address these changes and further develop their strategies to meet their goals in ethical manner.

- Identify and discuss topical issues related to digital interactions.

- analytic, systematic thinking skills

- information searching skills

- creative problem solving

- interdisciplinary and ability to work in multi professional groups

- ethical & sustainable thinking
