DEVS700 Internship (10 cr)

The DEICO programme allows for students to pursue an internship with a firm or organization active in the area of international development. The 10 credit-internship requires 2-6 months of full-time work and a submission of a reflective internship essay after the completion. The students are expected to identify their own internship placements, which need to be agreed with the international coordinator and DEICO internship coordinator in advance.  

Internship will allow students to experiment and apply the knowledge and skills learned in their studies in real-life situations in organizations engaged in development work (international, inter-governmental, national, or local), and to acquire the basic practical and analytical skills required to perform successfully in such working contexts.

DEICO (studies starting 2019) elective 5-10 cr, D&IC MP compulsory 10 cr.
