Description

The course includes independent work on analyzing data, reading, and writing two papers and a final paper. The first paper is a draft for the method chapter and the second a draft for the findings chapter. Seminars include presenting own papers and commenting the drafts of other students.

Learning outcomes

The course contributes to DEICO learning outcome: (4) have a capability to find, assess, and utilize academic research, and apply scientific theories and methods to conduct independent studies in ethically sound manner

Upon completion of the course, students have experience in analysing empirical data and writing the findings chapter for their thesis. They have made significant progress with their theses and are near their submission for final evaluation.

Assessment details: Individual project work, group discussion, presentations. Active participation, quality of proposal, time management.
