Description

Students prepare two draft papers and a final paper that is their improved combination. The papers will be first drafts of the literature review of the thesis topic and a potential theoretical approach used in the thesis. The course includes independent literature search and writing, as well as presenting and discussing in the seminar session. 

Learning outcomes

The course contributes especially to DEICO programme learning outcome: (4)have a capability to find, assess, and utilize academic research, and apply scientific theories and methods to conduct independent studies in ethically sound manner

Upon completion of the course, students will have made significant progress in planning the structure of their theses. They have written draft versions of literature reviews and theoretical approaches for their theses, and have experienced in presenting and commenting academic draft chapters.
