Principles of bilingual development, its social implications and role in communication.

Description

Lectures present the emergence of bilingualism at different stages of the life cycle, key theories and the role of bilingualism in the society.

Learning outcomes

Upon the completion of this course, students will understand the principles of bilingual development at different stages of the life cycle, social implications of bilingual development and cognitive activity (processing, memory, attention) in bilingual communication.
