Description

Global sustainability challenges. Concepts of business ethics, corporate social responsibility and corporate sustainability. Threats and business possibilities related to sustainability. Sustainability practices in business. Future perspectives to corporate social responsibility.

Learning outcomes

On successful completion of the course, students will be able to:

  • identify the principles of sustainable development and their connection to corporate social responsibility (CSR);
  • explain the importance of sustainability/CSR in the academic and managerial context;
  • compare corporate approaches to environmental and social issues;
