Description
The personal study plan (HOPS) included in the Bachelor's degree, which is started in the autumn of the first year of study. The HOPS preparation process involves various events to familiarize students with study planning and working life information and the use of the e-HOPS application, group meetings, writing a portfolio and an internationalization plan, and a personal meeting with the HOPS supervisor. During the study period, the student also gets to know possible jobs by interviewing a person working in the field and presenting the content of his work to others in a seminar.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course
- the student has an approved bachelor's study plan at Sisu
- the student knows the curriculum of his/her own subject and the schedule and workload of the studies
- the student gets to know different subjects
- the student understands the general requirements of working life and future expertise
- the student familiarizes himself with the possibilities of internationalization and plans his own internationalization
- the student is aware that building a personal study and career plan is a continuous process.
