Description
The course is based on the MOOC course climate.now and follows its contents: climate system and change, the impacts of climate change in ecosystems and societies, mitigation and adaptation measures.
Learning outcomes
After finishing this course, the student
- has understanding about the climate change as as a scientific phenomenon
- knows the mitigation and adaptation measures available
- understands the climate change as human and ethical challenge, and reflects his or her own role as an expert working in the field

Passing Climate.now MOOC course (pass/fail) and learning diary according to separate instructions (100%)

Description:
Select this mode if you want to take both climate.now MOOC (3cr) and seminar (2cr) independently.
Evaluation criteria:
Climate.now MOOC diploma (pass/fail) + learning diary (1-5, 60%) AND written report and seminar presentation (40%), grades fronm each part are taken to Sisu.
