Description

The Advanced Studies in Development, Education and International Cooperation consists of a variety of courses in following modules: orientation studies, thesis studies including Master Thesis seminars, critical development, development policy and practice, and education and development. 

Learning outcomes

After completing the Advanced Studies in Development, Education and International Cooperation students have a deep understanding of concepts and theories related to international development, the evolution of these theories and debates around them, of current issues and debates in development policy, of the most important project management tools used in development practice, of global education and of sustainable development. Students will also be experienced in learning and communicating in an international and intercultural team, capable to find, assess, and utilise academic knowledge and apply scientific methods to problem-solving in an ethically sound manner. The students will also have the knowledge and skills to pursue doctoral studies in development studies, education, and related fields.
