Learning outcomes
After completing the course the student
- is able to describe basic concepts and indicators related to the prevalence and risk factors of diseases
- is able to define the key study designs of epidemiological research
- is able to analyze the relationships between risk factors and their consequences
- is able to calculate basic risk ratios and to interpret them in studies
- recognizes the main sources of error in epidemiological research
