Description

The course focuses on the basics and main lines of development of economic and social history.

Learning outcomes

After completing the course the student will

  • be able to locate economic and social history within the discipline of history as a whole
  • understand the economic and social historical way of interpreting history
  • be familiar with the most significant trends in the history of economic policy
  • recognise periods of economic transition and major innovations
  • have honed their skills in analysing information and critical thinking.
