Description
The course focuses on the basics of gender history and the importance of gender in history.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student will:
- be able to identify key aspects of gender history and be familiar with the research tradition of the field
- know how to ask in what situations gender has significance
- understand that gender can relate to many other distinctions and intersects with a number of research topics and periods
- be able to look at historical research sources from the perspective of gender
- have honed their skills in analysing information and critical thinking.
