Description

Producing good quality video is a valuable skill for all business disciplines as video material can be used for e.g. HR training or promotional purposes. This self-contained, online course guides learners through the process of interviewing consumers (e.g. planning the questions as per set parameters and following professional interview practice), recording this interview on video, controlling the recoding environment (e.g. light and background noise) and finally editing the video to bring out the intended core message. Part of the video editing task is to add text to these videos so as to comply with the new EU accessibility directive.

Today, smartphones offer excellent video recording quality, the Marketing Department can lend label microphones and image stabilisers to the students too. For the editing, the learners are guided to freely available software for both iOS and Windows environment. The JYU Moniviestin will be utilised too.
