JSBY6210 Introduction to Master's Programmes (1 cr)
Description
This course provides students of JSBE Master’s programmes with understanding of programme contents, degree structure, curriculum, teaching methods and pedagogy, and academic practices at Jyväskylä School of Business and Economics. JSBE’s student organisation Pörssi will present their activities and Language center the diverse possibilities to study languages. To prepare students for interactive learning method the course offers a short introduction to presentation skills. We will have a multicultural skills workshop so that students are more equipped to work together in teams of students coming from different educational, cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Course includes an introductory class of the JYU library in order to become acquainted with the use of the library’s services and resources, and to be able to design and carry out literature searches.
