Project management skills
Learning outcomes
- proficiency at the command of different sectors of a research project
- more profound insight of at least one sector of commanding a research project. The sector may consist of e.g. gathering research data and command according to the principles of open science, preparing funding applications and budgeting a project, project management and practices of project implementation, research agreements and immaterial rights or commercialisation of research results.

doctoral student selects the studies upon the recommendation of supervisors and
in compliance with the doctoral study plan. Alternatively: Working in a research project, as agreed by the
project leader, so that the project work includes a definite area of
responsibility outside of the dissertation.

Assignments are assessed on the basis of how the doctoral student masters the contents of the study unit and achieves the learning outcomes of the study unit. A pass requires
- participation in teaching: active participation in contact teaching and acceptable completion of assignments requiring independent work. More detailed criteria will be provided in the course description. Or
- working in a research project, as agreed by the project leader, so that the project work includes some definite area of responsibility outside of the dissertation, and the project leader’s written report of the area of responsibility
For the Working in a Research Project study unit, you can receive a maximum of 5 ECTS credits.
