Learning outcomes

Student has/is:

  • Familiarized to departments and faculty assessment criteria for Master’s Thesis

  • Aware of the assessment process and knows his/her rights and oblications

  • Chosen a topic for the thesis, found a supervisor and committed to work on the thesis during extent of the course

  • Set goals for the Master’s Thesis work and reflected the personal significance of the work

  • Set a realistic goal for the work and settled check points with the supervisor

  • Explain her/his work to peers and discuss on the topics in the small groups

  • Prepare high quality Figures and Tables

  • Prepare a short scientific presentation

  • Learn to give constructive feedback to peers

  • Learned various group working methods in the small group meetings

English group starts in fall, if enough participants. Else, see method 2.
Evaluation criteria:
Practice seminar and public talk, return of the home assignments, compensating work, if absent from small group meetings.
