Content
This course gives an overview of platform-based and entrepreneurial digital work as an increasingly significant form of language expert work. It discusses digital work as an aspect of how work is changing in post-industrial societies and highlights the risks and opportunities that digital work and online collaboration can bring to language experts.
We also discuss and investigate various forms of digital work and raise awareness of multiliteracy practices and tools used in multilingual and multicultural contexts, involving interaction with collaborators and clients.

Learning outcomes
In this course, the students gain knowledge about
- platform-base, collaborative and entrepreneurial digital work,
- the opportunities and risks of digital work,
- types of digital language expert work,
- multilingualism and multiliteracies in digital work,
- interaction with multicultural collaborators in virtual teams,
- managing in digital work.
