ECOS1100 Foundations of Statistics for Ecology and Evolution (5–6 cr)
The aim of this corse is to provide solid conceptual foundation and basic technical skills (using R) for the use of statistical modelling in ecological and evolutionary research. The course does not seek to be exhaustive of all techniques nor intensive in any given one. It covers both frequentist and bayesian approaches. Course aimed for Masters (and PhD) students.

5 cr Attendance and participation in classes, completion of group and individual homework assignments, final test. 6 cr like 5 cr, but assignment using previously collected data. Recommended for PhD students.
