Project-based work in an international professional setting.
Completion methods
Individual, guided work (min. 160 hours), learning contracts, related assignments, seminars (max. 4 hours).
Assessment details
The student compiles an internship portfolio recording the progress of the project/internship and completes a number of tasks at scheduled intervals. An evaluative discussion takes place between the student, the tutor from the placement and the internship coordinator at the end of the internship period.
Learning outcomes
On successful completion of this course, student is able to:
- apply the theoretical knowledge within sport and leisure management and planning into practical solving of a defined problem/task
- complete a project using the necessary project management tools
