Description

Theoretical background and practical implications in event management. Planning, organizing, implementing and participating in given tasks or areas in a sport event.

Completion methods

Seminar 12 hours, group work, writing assignments, a book exam. Planning, carrying out and evaluating an event tasks.

Assessment details

Active participation in the planning and implementation of the event task (2 cr), a writing assignment (1 cr) and a book exam (2 cr).

Learning outcomes

On successful completion of this course, student is able to:
- identify the various aspects and tasks in event management
- demonstrate an ability to plan, organize and implement specific areas given in a sport event
- demonstrate an ability to work as a member of an international project group
