Description

Getting to know profoundly the foundation of sport pedagogy and teaching process and communicating these topics in English.

Collaborating with exchange students.

Deep consideration of the national curriculum and teaching traditions.

Suoritustavat:

Active participation in lectures and teaching practices (planning, teaching, observing and giving feedback), tutoring exchange students in their teaching practices, presentation and report of own national curriculum and teaching tradition, using required literature, learning diary

Arviointiperusteet:

Active participation 50 % (lectures, teamwork, teaching task, tutoring)

Presentation and report + learning diary 50 %

Learning outcomes

After completing the course, the student is able to

  • evaluate the foundation of sport pedagogy, teacher’s work and supervision in teaching process profoundly.
  • communicate and interact in English concerning PE teaching process.
  • present national curriculum and teaching traditions in English and compare it to the other counties.
