Content
The course examines cultural heritage as a academic concept and phenomenon in everyday life. It also covers the cultural and societal processes influencing cultural heritage.
Completion methods
Taught course or independent work (book exam, reading group or assignment).
Assessment criteria
80% participation in teaching and written assignments or lecture exam. Completion by independent study – essay or book exam.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student will:
- be familiar with cultural heritage as a concept and as a phenomenon
- recognise how the concept and phenomenon of cultural heritage is connected to academic, cultural and social issues and
- understand the different contexts, motivations and objectives related to cultural heritage work and its processes.
