Description

The course focuses on the basic of the organometallic chemistry and the reactivity and structural chemistry of organometallic compounds.

Learning outcomes

After completing the course the student

  • knows the basics of organometallic chemistry,
  • understands the reactions and structural chemistry of organometallic compounds,
  • knows how to communicate the topics of the course orally and written.

Work life skills

  • Increasing the general knowledge of organometallic chemistry. Organometallic chemistry is heavily utilized in industry.
  • Group working skills; a student learns to communicate with other students about the topics of organometallic chemistry and solve organometallic related problems utilizing the communal learning methods.

The course is graded based on group works (30 %) and the final exam (70 %). At least 50 % of total points of the course is needed to pass the course.
