Content

This course offers work-related practice in writing and speaking. By analyzing the main features of different professional genres, the students will acquire the terms and the style used in written and spoken workplace communication.

Learning outcomes

After completing the course, students will be able to

  • recognize genre features of various types of business writing and speaking;
  • understand and use both oral and written business-related terminology;
  • formulate messages in a formal style for a specific context, audience, and purpose;
  • use various digital tools for online collaboration at work;
  • produce different kinds of texts that are used in professional working life.
