Description

At least one poster or oral presentation at an international scientific congress. Credits are awarded only for conferences in which the doctoral student presents her/his research in the form of a talk or a poster: 1 ECTS (national) or 2 ECTS (international).

Learning outcomes

A doctoral student will gain experience in preparing and presenting a talk or poster presentation on her/his research, and in interacting with a national or international audience. By attending other presentations, a student will learn about the latest, cutting-edge research and understand the current state of research. Conferences give a student the opportunity to build a professional, international network with both peer doctoral students and more advanced researchers in her/his field.
