Sisältö
Aim: Familiarize accounting PhD students to the central financial accounting research areas, theories and methods. The course topics support learning analytical skills, critical thinking as well as professional and scientific writing skills. The course supports long-term quality in higher education according to UN Sustainable Goal 4 by educating future experts.
Suoritustavat
Study method: Seminar & essay/written work about the articles, total of 6 credit points. In addition a study of an earlier accounting PhD thesis suitable for the PhD student’s research theme can be analyzed, producing 2 extra credit points.
Osaamistavoitteet
Learning objective: After completing the course the student can position his/her research and produce advanced/PhD student level scientific texts related to financial accounting topics.
