Doing research is an integral part of many current professions: in the business world, for example, deep customer and competitor understanding directly affects the bottom line. This is why many organizations now focus on user-centered and participatory approaches, such as service design, where the users themselves are part of the design process. On this course, the students will familiarize themselves with a variety of such approaches and carry out a user-centered design project.
