YCCS2140 Stakeholder relationship management (5 cr)
Description
The study module provides students with specific knowledge of central concepts, models and theories of stakeholder relations and stakeholder communication. Students will learn how to identify and analyse key stakeholders, design plans for managing relations and communications with key stakeholder groups, and reflect on consequences and implications of corporate actions towards stakeholders. This study module introduce several UN Sustainable Development Goals such as Goals 3 Good health and wellbeing, 8 Decent work and economic growth, 10 Reduced inequalities, 12 Sustainable consumption and production, 13 Climate action and 17 Partnership for actions and discuss them as important global issues that are affecting stakeholders and influence stakeholder behaviors and relations with organizations.
Learning outcomes
After completing this study module, the student:
is able to identify and classify key stakeholders
is able to analyse stakeholder- organization relationships
is able to forecast possible stakeholder behaviors and their impact on organizations
is able to plan corporate responses
is trained to use a foreign language as a medium of communication
