Content
The course focuses on activation and development of academic writing, use of online tools, familiarizing yourself with different types of academic texts, features of academic language, process writing, reporting and citing. The course teaches you how to effectively synthesize information from different sources while integrating your own voice.
Completion methods
Contact teaching and independent study. Compulsory attendance in class tutorials.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course, students are expected to have developed their:
- academic writing skills in English,
- independent learning skills,
- process writing skills,
- skills of reporting and citing,
- skills in giving and receiving peer feedback on writing.
