key aspects of children’s social-emotional development; practical support of social-emotional development in early childhood education; socially sustainable development and social-emotional learning, deepening theoretical and practical understanding of a particular area of social-emotional development
Learning outcomes
Upon completion of the course the student is able
- to familiarize oneself to the key aspects of children’s social-emotional development, which have effect on children´s well-being and their relationships
- to know the main theoretical concepts of social-emotional development, developmental risk factors and early identification and support
- to evaluate the principles and tools how to support children´s social-emotional development
- to familiarize oneself to key questions regarding socially sustainable development from the perspective of social-emotional learning
- to know the ways of early intervention through the scientific concepts
