Description

Content

The course provides an overview of using simulation experiments as a tool in decision making. The course has three loosely coupled threads:
-Designing discrete event simulation models
--Different paradigms and programming techniques
-Modelling and model based decision making
--Modelling of randomness and Monte Carlo experiments
-- Making inference on the results of stochastic simulation (model validation, hypothesis testing)
-Designing and running simulation experiments
--”real” experiments on ”real” models
