Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to
- identify and explain the basic physiological responses to physical activity on cardiorespiratory fitness, muscle strength, neurophysiology, and age-related diseases.
- describe the role of exercise and physical activity for the maintenance and improvement of health and functional capacity in aging people
- recognize and describe the suitable exercise counseling methods and training modes for older people
