Content
- The role of theory in understanding physical activity behaviour
- Physical activity programmes and interventions
- Information on how technology, including accelerometers, and Web-based intervention strategies can be used in changing physical activity behaviour.
Completion methods
Active participation in lectures including demonstrations (20 hours) 1 ECTS and completion of assignments 2 ECTS.
Learning outcomes
On successful completion of this course, student is able to
- design and evaluate basic physical activity programmes and interventions.
- evaluate the most often used theories that relate to the promotion of physical activity and choose the most appropriate
