Measurement of body composition and bone, muscle strength, functional capacity of the respiratory and circulatory systems, cognitive performance, postural balance, gait and mobility in adults and older people
Active participation in the lectures (16 hours) and demonstrations (16 hours), independent study (written reports).
• Explain how the different areas of functional capacity can be measured and assessed
• Describe and evaluate the validity and reliability of various assessment techniques
• Understands the meaning of standardization for measurement reliability
