- understands the electron structures of coordination compounds and their effect on the properties of the compounds.

- understand the role of the catalyst in catalysis reactions.

- Understand the basics of reactivity of coordination compounds and use this knowledge to utilize compounds in chemical applications.

Recommended: Basic studies of Chemistry and KEMA2140 Introduction to the Chemistry of Main Group Elements (or KEMA214 Inorganic Chemistry 2) or equivalent knowledge.
