Due to the renovation, the course schedule may change during the years 2020-2023.

Description

Work will include the analytical methods and the use of analytical instruments. Topics covered will include gravimetry, potentiometry, titrimetry, as well as spectroscopic methods (Flame spectrophotometry, UV / VIS and atomic absorption spectrophotometer).

Learning outcomes

After passing the course, the student understand the theoretical premises associated with the different methods of analysis, as well as manages basic skills of analytical methods.

Working life skills

  • After passing the course, the student can: prepare samples and volumetric solutions; use volumetric dishes; make research plans; report results both orally and written; know differences, limitations and possible interference effects between analytical methods.
  • Reporting: written reports, research plans, seminar presentations.
  • Interaction skills: self working and small group working.
  • Appearance skills: group seminar presentation to all students in the course.
