Description

Locating the research topic within a geographical / academic framework, choosing and evaluating methodological approaches, writing the literature review, synthesising and referencing theoretical literature and existing empirical research, functioning as a discussant.

Learning outcomes

Upon completion of the course, students will have made significant progress in planning the structure of their theses. They have also written a draft version of their literature reviews for their theses, and they understand how the literature review functions as a basis for further thesis work.
