Learning outcomes

The main focus of the course is in the genetical, biochemical and neuropharmacological background of pathological processes in neurological diseases. After the course students should be able to understand the prevailing hypotheses of the causes of these diseases but, also, to understand the main principles of treatment(s) and diagnosis of neurological diseases.

Description of prerequisites

This course is aimed at students with a basic understanding of neuroscience e.g. CIBA110.
