Description

Lectures/video material going through the central nervous system anatomy and physiology from the smallest units (intracellular molecular signaling and cellular physiology) up to the system level functions. Emphasis is on fundamental mechanisms rather than on higher level functions.

Learning outcomes

Students learn the basic principles of the central nervous system structure and function. After the course they understand the functional architecture of the brain from cellular to the system -level.
