Description
Introduction of the different concepts, approaches and tools to strategies, strategy formulation and strategic management. Connecting sustainability dimensions to strategic thinking and management in companies. Presenting perspectives and frameworks for sustainable business strategies and models, competitive advantage, collaboration, capabilities and resources. Discussing on challenges related to implementation of sustainable business strategies. Presenting case examples about sustainable business strategies. Deepening knowledge by group assignment. Encouraging students to reflective and independent thinking and active dialogue e.g. by applying flipped learning approach.

By increasing understanding on sustainable business strategies, models and related frameworks as well as on challenges in sustainable business models implementation, this course supports specifically UN Sustainable Development Goals 9 Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, 12 Responsible Production and Consumption and 13 Climate Action.
