Description
The study module in Intercultural Communication introduces students to various approaches to intercultural communication. The study module pairs theoretical approaches to practical applications with the aim of providing communication and content production competencies required in the multicultural, networked world.
Learning outcomes
After completing the study module in Intercultural Communication the student
- has an overview of concepts, models, and theories relevant to intercultural communication
- has developed an appreciation of different cultural perspectives and values
- is able to analyse communication between people from different racial, ethnic and cultural backgrounds in both national and international settings.
