Content
Introductions to different educational curricula and culturally senstive pedagogy, exploration of different experiences of education from different perspectives and in different contexts, critical consideration of the different demands teachers, pupils and educational communities face.

Active participation in teaching, written task, reading material, group work activities, individual reflection
Assessment details
Active participation in course meetings and completion of the learning assignment/s.
Criteria for grades will be presented/agreed during the course.

Upon completing of the course the student will be able to
• recognise the various demands of international education
• seek further information in response to new situations
• to draw on the different backgrounds of pupils as resources for educational activity
• use different approaches to build educational communities by drawing on cultural sensitive pedagogies
