Content

This course introduces the participants to issues related to learning and instruction in the field of intercultural communication. The aim is to experiment how to put intercultural communication theory into practice, and to become acquainted with different learning methods, especially those that involve situated or experiential learning.

Completion methods

Lectures, group work, learning diary.

Assessment details

Passing the course requires completion of all required assignments in line with stated learning outcomes. An 80% attendance requirement is applied.

Grade-specific assessment criteria are introduced in the course.

Learning outcomes

After completing the course the student will be able to
- understand key approaches to communication competencies beneficial when interacting in intercultural settings and how to develop them
- critically analyze techniques and methods in ICC training and learning
- further develop their intercultural communication skills outside the classroom.
