Introduction to rearrangement reactions; Classification of rearrangement reactions; Nucleophilic rearrangements– rearrangements to electron deficient carbon, nitrogen and oxygen; Sigmatropic rearrangements; Free-radical rearrangements; Rearrangement reactions and retrosynthetic analysis; Application of rearrangement reactions to the synthesis of complex organic molecules.
