Content
Target group is the new doctoral students at the Jyväskylä University School of Business and Economics (JSBE). The content includes: introduction of faculty members & staff, structure of the studies, doctoral courses available, collaboration, funding channels, publications, meetings and conferences, career guidance, university library, and strengthening of the personal study plan.
Completion methods
Lectures, working with ones own research plan and analysis of public defence of doctoral dissertation.
Course is organized in autumn term.

The course gives a practical introduction to doctoral studies.
