Finding a training placement; employment contract affairs; professional training suitable for a physicist; reporting and evaluation.

Discussions and interactive events, written assignments.
Assessment details
To complete the professional training the student needs to draw up learning objectives before starting the training and write a report on the training. After the training the students must participate in group work where the skills learned are reflected.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student is familiar with employment possibilities of his own field and knows which skills are relevant in working life and how to apply them in practice. The student is able to tell about the organisation's operational culture. The student also understands the significance of the working life rules. The student recognizes his know-how and is able to make conclusions about possible future career options. The student understands what he/she needs to know and learn to achieve his/her career goals.
The detailed learning objectives will be defined individually for each student depending on the student's earlier working experience, stage of studies and the training placement and duties.

Additional information
One month of professional training corresponds to 5 ECTS credits. The training credits can be included into major studies (max. 5 ECTS) and into optional studies (max. 10 ECTS).
