Content

Determination of the chemical and microbiological quality of well water, methane formation potential of organic waste by anaerobic batch experiment, chemical coagulation of NOM from surface water to drinking water quality, determination of adsorption isotherm by AC, the first order degradation kinetics and half-life of compound X in oxidation system (ozone, UV, AOPs)

Learning outcomes

The student is familiar with the most common experiment laboratory scale test of water and drinking water treatment and in remediation of contaminated environment. She/he is able to make the conventional environmental analyses, use spectrophotometric, and chromatographic techniques of process control and optimization.
