Contents: The course focuses on the role of physical activity in individuals’ psychological well-being. In the course, both personal and professional perspectives are considered, and emphasis will be on practical implications.

Completion methods

Modes of study: The principles of flipped learning are applied in the course which emphasizes the activity of the students. Studies consist of self-learning (online materials available on Moodle), face-to-face seminars, reflective learning portfolio, and group work. Note that students should attend all the seminars.

Learning outcomes: After completing the course, the students will understand the beneficial effects of physical activity on psychological well-being. As the practical implications are discussed, the students will be able to apply the learned knowledge in both personal and professional contexts.
