Getting acquainted with the essential literature and analysing methods in the biomechanical research.
Completion methods
Research methodology seminar (24 hours), where students present scientific reports on different research methods and prepare a written survey on selected research methodology.
Examination on the reports and surveys.
Assessment details
Reports and surveys 70%, exam 30%
Learning outcomes
Advance the knowledge of research methodology by becoming acquainted with the essential research methods used in your thesis. After completing the course a student is able to:
• select appropriate methods for his/her thesis
• critically evaluate research data and methodology
• critically evaluate the reliability and validity of chosen methods
• integrate theory and research results and draw conclusions
